He will be a cotnpanied lev Messrs. W. B. Brown of Berlin, N. H.. breeder, ■garter of Arabian horses and patron of the annual endurance test for riding horses, and Ueering Oavis of Colorado Springs. Col. They will proceed :o Crahaet Paik. Sussex. England, where they will •nik over Arab horses arttk the idea of purchasing fof Mr. Brown. They next go to Pau and Turtles, where they Mill examine the three-year-old Anglo-Arabs, which are •oll"i ted for examination and possible purchase hy the French government about the end of April. Ilieie they expect to make some purchases for Mr Brown. From Franco they will go to Germany, thence to Austria. Hungary and Czccho Slovakia, with the idea in view of stcuiiug such high -class thorough hred mares as n.ay be available. These are to be purchased for Major Leonard and friends of his ta Colorado. Major Leonard also will endeavor to W arc- i.bout ten thoroughbred stallions for the Be mount Service. At the conclusion of this trip t.icy will return to England and there look about for ilcoruughbred stallions and mures. Thoroughbred horse bfeedtaf In Colorado is hav ing con-iderable impetus. Bryant Turner of the Tj in -ehera Ranch, who owns the famous little racer Baaget Bed. by Ranoocas. and who is the agent tor Defense, is one of those who are foremost in this activity.
