March 20 —The victory of Pell-sie, three -year -old bay filly, by Irish Lad — Lady Nell, by Mordant, in the Prix Stuart at Suint Cloud today makes the filly a promising candidate for the French Oaks. Pellsie is the property of X. Balli. She was bred at Mrs. H. It. Din-yeas Haras du Gazon and raced well as a two- year -old last year. Pellsies victory in the Prix Stuart, a ,500 affair, at about a mile and a quarter, was scored with ease. She led Evsonos by two and a half lengths at the finish, with Cliat Fourre third. The stake carried a 00 breeders prize, which went to Mrs. Duryea,
