PALESTINE TO HAVE RACING The Palestine Weekly published at Jerusalem states that the first steps have been taken for the organization of racing in Palestine and a site for a course has been selected near the village of Selmeh in the neighborhood of Jaffa The first meeting was held recently in the presence of Colonel Sterling governor of the Jaffa District and hundreds of visitors It is hoped that the institution of racing may help to stimulate the breeding of Arab horses in Palestine
