NO CHANGE IN SPRING DATES Connaught Park Jockey Clubs Meeting Will Be Held From May 30 to June 6 6OTTAWA OTTAWA Ont April 27 There will not be any change in connection with the dates for the spring meeting of the Connaught Park Jockey Club On February 1 the Ca ¬ nadian Racing Associations allotted the dates for the Ottawa meeting as Tuesday May SO to Tuesday June C and Friday August 25 to Friday September 1 1Hon Hon Mr Nicol provincial treasurer has confirmed the dates for the spring meeting at Connaught Park word to this effect hav ¬ ing been received by the club Conse ¬ quently the Connaught Park meeting will take place Tuesday May SO to Tuesday June t It is expected that the fall dates will also be approved by the Quebec govern ¬ ment mentApplications Applications for stabling continue to reach the Connaught Park Clubs headquarters and it is evident that the spring meeting will be a banner one The latest requests for stabling accommodation at Connaught Park are from John S Wattley of Lexing ¬ ton Ky who is coming with eight horses Allan Bulcroft of Montreal who will have twelve Canadianbrcds and James W Beai of Washington who will have fifteen in his string Commander J K L Ross has prom ¬ ised Senator Belcourt that he will ship his entire Canadian stable to Ottawa
