G L GOODACBES PURCHASE G L Goodacre the Washington sportsman made a luclcy purchase when he gave J K L Ross 5100 for the English mare Necken last fall This mare is a daughter of Sir Archibald and Badinage brought to Canada by Mr Ross in 1917 She was bred to Cudgel and at the time of her sale for the trifling price it was not thought she was in foal She recently gave birth to a lusty colt and Mr Ross has been unsuccessfully trying to buy her back from Mr Goodacre
