CLOISTERS TRAINER IS DEAD SPECIAL CABLEGRAM LONDON England May 23 Arthur Yates veteran trainer and jockey died Friday after a long illness at the age of eightyone Yates trained Cloister C G Duffs jumper which won the Grand National in 1893 He was said to have ridden his first winner in I860 and although no official record of his riding career is available it is claimed that he rode more than 700 winners mostly over obstacles in England and on the continent during his long and active career
