condi ¬ tions at Woodbine this afternoon were of a summerlike variety and an exceptionally large crowd journeyed to the course to wit ¬ ness the racing The program was devoid of any particular feature and though the qual ¬ ity of the horses starting in tho different races was of the plater variety they fur ¬ nished some spirited racing racingTho Tho J K L Ross colors were in the as ¬ cendency and were twice carried to victory when Lion dOr and Brynthona were triumph ¬ ant in their respective races Lion dOr had some trouble in winning his victory but Brynthonas was of the easiest sort at a mile
