Latonia in ¬ augurates its twentynine day racing term tomorrow under auspices that could not be excelled Nothing that could contribute to the comfort of a discriminating racing pat ¬ ronage has been left undone by general man ¬ ager Matt J Winn and his able staff of as ¬ sistants here The extensive improvements added since last year to the already pic ¬ turesque plant have brought it to a point where it now stands aloof from all other western racing grounds and justly earns the sobriquet of wonder track trackLatonia Latonia has been a long time arriving although racing first had its introduction over the track in 1883 Many notable con ¬ tests have been staged over its racing strip Many a memorable struggle has been wit ¬ nessed between turf giants that subsequently were placed in the highest niches of Ameri ¬ can racing history But for some reason or other Latonia has never been given the place it should have been accorded in the sun until now nowWith With its glittering array
