HENRY OXNARD foOTED BREEDER IS DEAD DEADNEW NEW YORK N Y June 9 Henry Thomas Oxnard owner of the Bluo Ridgo Stud at Uppervillo Va and ono of the most prominent of Ameri ¬ can breeders of thoroughbred horses died suddenly of acute Indigestion at the University Club Thursday night nightMr Mr Grnard has been associated wiQ racing and breeding for moro than of the Jockey Club While ho raced in a small way from time to time his part on the turf was the breeding and selling of thoroughbreds At the Bluo Ridge Stud ho had Superman Vulcain King James and Fayctte with about sixty brood mares Tear after year ho has sold yearlings that went on to big things in a racing way Tho crop last year was sold to J B Smith for whom H T Griffin is training trainingMr Mr Ornard was vicepresident of tho American Beet Sugar Company and with his brothers Benjamin and Rob ¬ ert Oxnard who survive him had vast holdings in beet sugar land hi Cali ¬ fornia and Colorado and cane sugar lands hi Cuba Mr Oxnard is also survived by a widow and two daugh ¬ ters
