HORSE SALE AT EMPIRE CITY Small Prices Realized at Weeding Out of Strings of Syndicate and Butler Stables. YONKERS, N. Y., July 27. There was a considerable sale of horses in training in the Empiro City paddock before the races today, tho principal consignors being the Syndicate Stable and James Butler. While tho prices obtained were small the offerings were in keeping with sucn prices. J. Leo, who made several purchases, bought his horses for racing at Porto Rico.
