WIDENSRS EOandIE-BBED COLT WINS PRIX ALECHE SPECIAL CABLEGRAM. PARIS, France, August 1. The colore of Joseph E. Widcncr were carried to victory in the Prix Aleche at La Ti-emblay yesterday by his two-year-old Lizard, a bay son of lsard II. and Lisette IX. The youngster was ridden by M. McGee and raced impressively, beating "the Aga Khans Saint Illiers and A. K. Macombers Vanity Fair. The Ma-comber youngster is a daughter of Hesperus Ready, and has shown good form in her previous races. Lizard is a home-bred from Mr. Wideners French stud. The condition and performance of the winner are the subject of much favorable comment in the French sporting prcs3 today.
