GOSEIGAITS ENGLISH MAKE Flying Bridge is a beautiful, long, level mare. She has at foot an exceedingly good jDiadumenos filly, and is covered again by the same horse. Her record of fertility is very low, and so Mr. Macombcr was able to trade at 1,350 guineas. Her half-sister, Fly- ing Squadron, is a smaller and shorter mare, but as she is only six years old and is covered by Phalaris, she made 4,300 guineas. Dawson Waugh was the buyer on behalf ot Mr. Corrigan, who. though an American, intends to own a stud farm in England. Her filly foal is by Hurry On, and this, no doubt, 1 brought Mr. Livock into the bidding fray, but Dawson Waugh outstayed him after a spirited contest in which Mr. Macombcr also took part.
