MAPLE HEIGHTS RACING STATISTICS OF INTEREST The summer meeting of the Ohio State Jockey Club at Maple Heights was held from July 15 to July 29, comprising thirteen days of racing, during which time 91 races were decided and 2,300, a daily average of ,-5G1, was distributed among the winning horsemen. J. L. Paul was the largest winner among the owners, while Fifty-Fifty enjoyed similar distinction among the horses. Jockey M. Fator basked in the limelight of public favor and his brilliant riding was one of the outstanding incidents of the meeting. He rode eighteen winners out of 59 mounts, finishing second fourteen times and third on six occasions.
