LORD ASTORS TURF SUCCESS Lord Astor, the expatriated American racing in England, has done well on the turf of his country of adoption. Since he first began racing in England to the end of 1921 the Astor horses had competed in 214 races, of which they won sixty-two and accounted for 38,895 in first moneys alone. He ha3 not as yet headed the winning owners list, but was second in 1914 and again in 1921. Lord Astor has won the Epsom Oaks, One and Two Thousand Guineas, but not tho Derby or St Leger.
