Won driving; second and third the simc. BEST LOVE raced in close pursuit of the leadera to the last eighth, then responded gamely when called on and took the lead, but was tiring through the final seventy yards and was doing her best to withstand MARTINGALES challenge. The latter, away forwardly, dropped back while rounding the last turn, but finished with a game ru h through the stretch. CHICKVALE began slowly and. working his way up cn the inside, finished with a belated rush, but was in tight quarters in the final strides, and forced to be pulled np. CANAQUE raced into the lead, but tired in the final drive. BLOSSOM TIME set the early pace fast. OSlItEY ran green. ENCHANTMENT began very slowly and had no chance after the start. The last six at the start had no chance. LOLLIPOP followed the leaders in the early running under slight restraint and, responding gamely when called on, wore COMIQUE down and, taking the lead, crossed over sharply before the latter at the last jump, but drew away rapidly and was ridden out to maintain his advantage. COMIQUE, under stout restraint for the first turn of the field, raced into second place at the twelfth fence and followed the leaders closely to the sixteenth jump, where he took the lead, but made a bad landing at the last jump and lost ground. KELliLEND showed a good order of speed, but jumped awkwardly. SKA MONARCH fell at the fifteenth jump and HIGH MAGIC refused at the seventh. Overweights Lollypcp, 5 pounds. 6QEQ THIRD RACE 1 Hile. BRINK began slowly, but gradually improved her position and outflnished ARAPAHOE in the final drive. The latter raced in closest pursuit to the stretch, but tired in the stretch drive. RACQUETTA showed early speed and ran well to the stretch. TING-A-LING quit. QUEEN BLONDE had no mishaps. ZED ran n bad race and seemed to sulk. Scratched 63677 Blackstone, 101; 63837 Romulus, 109. SWEEP HAWK, away well, raced in closest pursuit all the way and made a fast and game finish. WILLIAM TELL moved up menacingly at the eighth post, but was tiring in the closing strides. SUNDAY BEST saved ground on all the turns and gradually improved her position. FOREST LORE, oft slowly, closed a big gap in the last quarter. ADVENTURESS ran poorly. CONTACT had no mishaps. PARADER, after being saved behind the leaders in the early running, slipped through next to the inner rail after entering the stretch and, saving ground, raced into the lead, but was tiring slightly in the closing strides and just lasted to win. JOHN PAUL JONES was much used in racing FIRM FRIEND ! into defeat and, being forced wide on the stretch turn, lost ground, but made a fast and game finish and would have won in another stride. ROULEAU moved up resolutely in the final quarter and easily out-i finished the others. NEDNA raced forwardly all the way. ATHELSTAN began slowly. FIRM FRIEND set a fast pace, but tired badly after going three-quarters. BIGHEART saved - ground on all the turns and set a fast pace to the final sixteenth, where he tired. KAI-SANG was taken back after going the first quarter mile and was not persevered with afterward.
