TO PICK PRESIDING STEWARD NEW ORLEANS, La., August 12. Following a schedule meeting of the directors of the Business Mens Racing Association Monday, President John Dymond will leave for Saratoga in connection with the selection of a presiding steward for next Avinters fair grounds meeting. The choice of a steward will be a subject of discussion at Mondays meeting, but no decision will be made until- Mr. Dymond has conferred with those who are under consideration, he said. Among those prominently mentioned for the position are Joseph A. Murphy and Christopher A. Filz Gerald. Mr. Dymond refused to say whether Robert S. Eddy Jr. will be retained as general manager of the fair grounds.
