SATISFY LEXINGTON SELLERS LEXINGTON, Ky., August 18. Messrs. John D. Carr, Thomas Piatt and Sanford C. Lyne returned this morning from Saratoga to spend the remainder of the week at home. Then they will journey again to the Spa to attend the sales of brood mares and sucklings next week. "The market was not quite as high for ordinary yearlings as we had figured it might be," said Mr. Piatt, "but we are satisfied with the prices we received for those we sold, and I think the breeders on the whole are satisfied, though there are some who may feel that they did not obtain all that their offerings are worth." owned by Edward Cebrian, Himyar Stud and Mr. Piatt said he is expecting the yearlings Xalapa Farm to sell well this week. "The Cebrian yearlings," he said, "are in excellent condition and are good individuals. I hear favorable remarks about them from owners and trainers." Three carloads of yearlings purchased at Saratoga by J. C. Milam, Will Perkins and others have reached Lexington and are now being broken at the Kentucky Jockey Clut track.
