Won handily; second and third driving. ROYAL CHARLIE, after racing in close pursuit of FRENCH FURZE to the last eighth, raced into the lead, but began tiring in the tinal sixteenth and was ridden out at the finish. FRENCH FURZE displayed much speed in pacemaking and mushed gamely, but could not withstand the winners challenge. ARROW OF GOLD steadily improved her po itiou on the outside and outfinished EVIL. The latter, away forwardly, saved ground on the turns and raced prominently throughout. BRIGHT LIGHTS ran well and was forced to race wide for the entire race. BLUE TEAL cloned a gap. GLADIATOR was hard ridden, but was unable to gain on the leaders and ran a bad race. MABEL A. was practically left at .the post. Won easily; second and third driving. THE PERUVIAN was saved under restraint to the stretch, then rushed into the lead and, drawing far away, won in a canter. BRINK gradunlly improved her position after going a half mile and made a fast finish. CARE FREE worked his way up on the outside and outfinished JOCK SCOT. The latter raced forwardly, but could not improve his position. CONSORT finished well. FLUFF showed the most early speed, but ran out on the last turn. Won driving; second and third the same. BLOSSOM TIME took the lead at once and, making tlie pace fast, withstood repeated challenges and outstayed RESTING TIME in a game finish. RESTING TIME raced in close pursuit throughout and made a game effort in the final eighth, but tired slightly near the end. SUN THISTLE moved up menacingly on the stretch turn, but was forced wide, then was slowly gaining at the finish. BROCADE was I hard ridden and could not improve her position. CONTOUR rjced well. BLUE AND GOLD raced green. PARADER was in close quarters in the early running, but also came fast through the stretch and, finishing gamely, outstayed ROULEAU in the final drive. ROULEAU, under restraint in the early running, made a game finish, but was tiring in the final strides. LALLY set a fast pace, but tired badly in the final eighth. KIRKLEAINGTON came wide when entering the stretch and lost ground, but finished gamely and would have won in a few more strides. MARIE MAXIM was badly ridden and tired in the last eighth.
