VETERAN PLATER PASSES ON James Branham died in his home at 3330 Calumet avenue last Monday nighL For about thirty years he had been in service on trades east and west as an expert plater of race horses. His latest service in that capacity was with the E. B. McLean, stable under trainer John F. Schorr. He was taken sick near the close of the Latonia spring meeting.
