IN CHARGE AT HAWTHORNE Johnson Southard, who prepared the Kenil-worth Park track for the Man o War-Sir Barton special race two years ago, arrived in Chicago today. He will immediately take charge of the Hawthorne track and expects to begin work today. Mr. Southard promises to have the old course in fine condition shortly.
