KIRKLEVINGTON, oft forwardly, set the early pace and was taken back under slight restraint until in the final quarter, then raced into the lead again and drew away to win casing up. WINNECONNE dwelt at the start and was slow in getting into her stride, but gradually improved her position and moved up menacingly after entering the stretch, but was forced back and. after losing ground, came again and easily outfinished THE PERUVIAN. The latter raced into the lead and saved ground on the turns, but tired in the stretch. Overweights Rockport, 4 pounds. CKCftQ FOURTH RACE 1 1-8 Miles. July 7, 19211:493123. LUCKY HOUR followed SENNINGS PARK closely in the early running under restraint and, taking the lead gamely when called on, drew clear and maintained his advantage tenaciously when challenged. MAD HATTER raced in close pursuit of the leaders until in the final eighth, where he closed up resolutely, but swerved out toward the outer rail and, losing ground, undoubtedly would have won had he finished straight. SENNINGS PARK set a very rapid pace for a mile and tired. SEDGEFIELD gradually improved his position, but finished in close quarters. CAPTAIN ALCOCK was deficient in speed. PILGRIM was eased up when beaten. BON HOMME was badly jumped upon and cut behind in the early running and was pulled up. Overweights Pilgrim, 2 pounds. CtK.Ci.fi. A riFTH RACE 6 1-2 Furlongs.
