Won driving: second and third the same. AUNTIE MAY" was saved in the early running and came through next to tiie inner rail in the stretch and, racing into the lead, drew away in the last sixteenth. JOHN S. REARDON raced in nearest pursuit to the stretch and took the lead, but tired in the final drive. DR. HICKMAN set a fast pace to the stretcli and quit badly. MAKE UP ran well. LUCKY RUN ran well, but had to be ridden hard in the last eighth to save third place. C. A. REINHART saved much ground on the turns, but was forced back in the stretch. BLUE BIRD closed a big gap. The latter showed vastly and suddenly improved form and, running a good race, only tired in the last eighth. IN MEMORIAM raced forwardly from the start, but tired after taking the lead. DONGES ran his usual honest race and had no mishaps. GREAT LUCK closed a gap and finished fast under good riding. CHERRY PIE and RIALTO were away hopelessly and far back for the entire race. BETTY BEALL and BRIGHT TOMORROW were also away badly, but the latter closed a great gap. INDIAtf TRAIL quit after setting the pace to the far turn.
