Won driving; second and third the same. CAROL came fast through the stretch and wearing the tiring pacemaker down in the last eighth just lasted long enough to outstay TALADOR after passing NEW HAMPSHIRE. TALADOR closed an immense gap and finished with a great burst of speed. NEW HAMPSHIRE set a fast pace, but was much used in racing CROCHET into defeat and tired. TRANSOM finished well. Won driving; second and third tho same. COURTEOUS jumped in easy fashion and drew away into a long lead in the first turn of the field, but tired and was doing his best at the end. SEA TALK could haye won, but was eased up in favor of his stablemate. MINATA made a game challenge in the last time around, but could not quite get up. HALLAVILLS rider lost both stirrups at the tenth fence, -where the horse made a Dad landing. NATALIE lost her rider at the ninth jump. MX OWN rushed into a good lead quickly and, drawing away from HENNA after entering the stretch, won in a canter. WOODLAND saved ground on all the turns and outgamed HENNA for second place. The latter raced forwardly and gamely, but tired badly near the end. CRESTA dwelt at the start and closed a gap. CAVEAT EMPTOR ran wide on the first turn, but quit and ran a bad race. ON WATCH raced in the middle of the track most of the way and, finishing fast and gamely, was wearing the winner down. TIPPITY WITCHET saved ground on the stretcli turn and made a fast finish. EXTERMINATOR began slowly and gained steadily, but the distance was too short for him. HILDUR tired. SECOND THOUGHTS set a fast pace to the stretch and quit in the final drive.
