HARRY RUDDER raced well and came fast in the last eighth. CAPTAIN BURNS closed a gap and finished with a rush. JACK FAIRMAN raced into the lead, but tired badly after reaching the stretch. The latter was far back for the first three-quarters, but finished with a game rush. EULAH F. was always a forward contender. JACOBINA set a good pace, but failed to stay the route.
