DUBLIN, Ireland, November C Bright, seasonable weather favored the concluding day of the Leopardstown meeting, and brought out a good attendance. Fields ruled of fair size, and backers fared well. Twelve contested the Newtown Hurdle Plate, for which Hy Many and Merry Miner commanded most support, and of tho pair the latter did best, and beat everything except Bolshevist, which, in the hands of F. B. Rces, scored easily. A short price was accepled about Guinea Stamp for the Silver-park Plate, but he never looked like a winner, snd in a somewhat bumpy finish the tubed Royal Oak had the better of Tailte. The chief contest, the Autumn Foal Stakes, as the wagering suggested, was. little more than an exercise canter for good-looking Jackdaw of Rheims, which fairly dominated the situation and won in a common canter. There was nothing of much account opposed to him, but his victory was achieved in the style of a good colt, and he should mold into a useful three-year-old. Glowanna, which was the favorite for the Stillorgan Chase, gave her backers a fright when she made a mistake and lost her place a half- mile from home, but she quickly made up the lost ground and in the end won easily from Boomerang. The Paddock Steeplechase provided a rat- ling finish between the three best-backed candidates, and it was only by a narrow margin that Outlaw scored. The Baldoyla winner, Trim Gate, was confidently expected to supplement his laurels in the Carrick-mines Plate, but cut up in disappointing fashion, and with Tilstock knocked about at the entrance to the straightaway, when leading. Knock Brack scrambled home in front of Snow Ball. An objection was made on the grounds of bumping and boring, and this will be investigated at Phoenix Park.
