Won handily; second and third driving. ARARAT took the lead at once and set a fast pace until in the last eighth, where he drew away decisively. MARVIN MAY began well and followed ARARAT closely from the start, but was held safe all the way. ELMER K. stood a hard drive resolutely through the last eighth and outgamed JAMES F. OHARA. The latter saved much ground on the turns, but was tiring at the end. MY REVERIE began slowly and was always outrun. RAPID DAY was far back all the way. BETTER TIMES raced in nearest pursuit from the start and made a game finish. VENNIE had no mishaps and ran well. GOLDENCREST ran fairly weU and finished gamely. GRASS TREE dropped far back on the backstretch, but responded gamely to hard riding in the stretch and was going fast at the end. CnATEAUGAY began slowly and moved up with a rush, but began tiring near the end. DANTZIC tired in the stretch after having shown the most speed for three-quarters. RAM KIN had no mishaps. KEWPIE ONEIL was outrun for the first half, but moved up steadily afterwards and was going fastest at the end, but ran away a mile and five-eighths after the finish. BLARNEY STONE ran a good race and finished well. CHERRY TREK ran a bad race. CRACK O DAWN quit after leading for three-quarter. Scratched GG5S0Rocky Mountain, 100. Overweights Blarney Stone, 1 pound. SAGAMOOK was always outrun. ARCHIE ALEXANDER also ran below his best form. HEREAFTER ran away before the start and, acting badly, was cased up after going a quarter. SERVICE STAR raced close up all the way and was going fast at the end. COCKROACH, under hard riding, raced gamely and outstayed TRAVESTY. The latter raced well for three-quarters before tiring. JAKE SCHAS ran welL MERCHANT had a big advantage at the start, but his rider at once eased him up.
