PLAYFELLOW SUIT CLOSED NEW YORK, N. Y., December 1. The refusal of the Court of Appeals at Albany last Tuesday to entertain the motion of attorneys for James F. Johnson to bring an appeal from the adverse verdict of the Appellate Division in the Playfellow controversy marks the end of the long-drawn-out legal controversy over the horse. The Rancocas Stable won its suit in the Supreme Court for the return of the 00,000 purchase price, and this verdict was upheld by the Appellate Division of the Second District. Mr. Johnson has no further recourse to the courts.
