RUNLEIGH began well and, showing a good order of speed, took the lead on the first turn, where he cut across in front of the others, but was tiring at the end and had to be ridden out. XORICK set the early pace and was forced back on the stretch turn, but finished fast and ran a good race. IRENE WALTON ran well and finished close up. LAURA GAFFNEY showed speed. BIJOU began slowly and was far hack all the way. CAPPY BICKS closed a considerable gap. BLUB BRUSH dosed a gap in the last quarter and was going fast at the end. DEEP SINKER also closed up ground.
