PROGRESS AT ASHLAND, KY. ASHLAND, Ky., December 1. The Tri-State Pair and Racing Association, which is building the new race track here, expects to have everything completed by January 15, 1923 and general manager J. O. Keene said that the Kentucky Racing Commission would be asked for dates immediately following the close of Latonia in July. The track proper has been finished, the foundations for the grandstand and a railroad siding are now being completed. Grading for roads within the grounds and for stable locations is also under way.
