RESUME TIJUANA RACING Winter Meeting at Mexican Track Again Under Way After Interruption of One Day. SAN DIEGO, Cal., December C Racing at Tijuana track and under the direction of president James W. Coffroth of the Tijuana Jockey Club, was resumed today and will continue for the one hundred or more days. An order received at the track yesterday morning from the City of Mexico directed that the sport be suspended. The order said that such action was taken on account of reports being received at Mexico City that there had been disorder and rioting at Tijuana. The falsity of such reports was soon established and transmitted to the proper authorities at Mexico City. At 1 :20 oclock yesterday afternoon advices from the Secretary de Gubernacion and transmitted through governor Jose Innocente Lugo of Lower California, countermanded the order issued earlier in the day making the way clear for resumption and continuation of the sport without delay. During the racing at Tijuana at this meeting, which was opened Thanksgiving Day before a record crowd, no patron has been found who could tell truthfully of any disorder, and news that such report had been sent out created much surprise among the horsemen and all interested in racing. As a result of yesterdays order restoring the sport, the program which was to have been run Tuesday was decided today. The news caused horsemen and others to be highly elated and they aie well pleased with the prospect of a fine season of racing without any further interruption.
