MENDING COLTS BROKEN LEG It is just possible that there will be a two-year-old racing next year that is now being doctored for a broken leg. This yearling is a bay son of Willis Sharpe Kilmers Sun Briar and the good mare Cleopatra. He was kicked by his motner and a leg broken as a result- The little fellow was placed in a sling and his leg placed in a plaster cast and it is reported from the Shutts farm in New Jersey, where he is, that the bone is knitting nicely with every chance for a perfect recovery.
