FILLYS UNUSUAL ACCIDENT English Two-Year-OId, at Play, Runs Cows Horn Into Chest, Severing Artery. LONDON, England, November 25. The two-year-old Epione, by Apothecary Hero-phi la, belonging to O. "W. E. Hedley, was killed in a strange way at the Bladbean Stud Farm, Elham, near Canterbury, last week. She and another two-year-old had just been let out into a fourteen-acre field, in which was some shorthorn cows. The two-year-olds started teasing the cows and ran one into the hedge, driving her until the cow burst through the hedge backward, being half on one side and a half on the other. "While the cow was in this position Epione went at her, running one of the cows horns into her chest, tearing one of the main arteries as the horn came out and bleeding to death almost at once. Both cows and horses were thoroughly used to each other, having been literally brought up together. The whole incident occupied only a few minutes and was over before it was realized that anything was wrong.
