CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The muddy track at the Fair Grounds has somewhat hampered the schooling of yearlings, but nevertheless tlie youngsters are said to be coming along in good style and will be ready for the "baby" races after the first of the new year. Starter A. B. Dade, who has been unable to do the starting at Jefferson Park, is said to be on the road to recovery and will probably be well enough to assume his duties at the Fair Grounds if not during the closing days of the Jefferson meeting.
