RACING STABLE FORMED Word has been received that George and James Clark former residents of Toronto but now engaged in the brokerage business in New York have formed a partnership with the wellknown racing men T P Phe lan and A S London secretary of the Ham ¬ ilton Jockey Club and will race a stable of jumpers under the nom de course of the Queen City Stable The wellknown stee ¬ plechase jockey R II Crawford is now in England with a commission to purchase likely jumpers for the stable The newly formed establishment has the good racer Irish Jig which will be turned into a jumper Mr Phelan has been racing steeplechasers for a number of years and was formerly as ¬ sociated with James Carruthers
