BEGIN ON FEBRUARY 15 Date Set for Breaking Ground at Riverside Track New Washington Park Breeders BreedersAssociation Association Completes Plans Plansand and Is Beady to Build Judge Joseph A Murphy presiding stew ¬ ard at the Fair Grounds New Orleans wired here yesterday that the Chicago committea that spent the holidays at the Crescent City was more than pleased over matters pertain ¬ ing to the New Washington Park Breeders Association notwithstanding tho numerous rumors and circulations to tho effect that several organizations were being started in Chicago The committee wont over the entire situation and announced that the financing of the south side plant has practically been completed and actual work will commence on February 15 Judge Murphy will be in Chicago on that date and as all plans are ready to go right ahead there should bb no delay in the contemplated work workThe The committee that went to New Orleans was vested with full power to arrange all details for the arrangements for the buildinjf of the plant taking over the option of the 280 acres of land at Riverdale and completing the entire plant by May 1 1The The Chicago end of the proposition ha long since been primed for action BHiy Myer who will have full charge of putting the tracks in working order is emphatic in saying that he will have his work ready by May 1 1William William J Murray who has full charjrs of the organization of the subsidiary construc ¬ tion company is ready to start immediately Architect Scott C Dyer has the steel work and materials order so there will be no delay at his end endJudge Judge Murphy has been put In absolute charge of perfecting the organization both the racing and social end of the organization proper He will select people who are quail field to assist him in this organization Avcrlc The racing end tho judge has in his palms and the horsemen in New Orleans are with him hook line and sinker so then need ba no fear of not having enough horses horsesStables Stables will be completed for a thousand horses besides the private interests that are going to erect their own stables stablesTaking Taking everything into consideration it looks like matters will commence to hum as soon as Judge Murphy returns to Chicago He has canceled all engagements and will not go to Mobile but will leave for Chicago immediately after the close of the Fair Grounds on the 13th of February
