SILVER JUG DEAD IN INDIA LONDON England December 20 Silver Jug which was sent to India in 1921 recently broke her leg in a race at Poona and in consequence was destroyed on the course the limb being too badly smashed for tho mare to be saved Bred by the late Barney Parr and foaled May S 1917 Silver Jug a chestnut daughter of Juggernaut and Queen Silver won four races for her breeder worth in all 3445 and was bought for 25000 by Clarence Halley for Mr Garda shortly be ¬ fore she won the Great Foal Stakes of 3900 for tills Indian sportsman
