BONDAGE GOES TO THE STUD Horse Recently Purchased by Whitney Mooro Will Stand at Mere Hill Farm LEXINGTON Ky January 29 Bondage nineyearold chestnut son of Ogden Fair Atalanta by Knight of the Thistle has ar ¬ rived in Lexington in charge of Jouett Reed and was taken to Mere Hill Stud where ho is shortly to begin his career as stallion in quarters near those of the famous old sire McGee Bondage was recently purchased by Whitney Moore the young master of Mere Hill Stud from James Arthur for whom he won at various distances over all kinds of tracks and was during his career the winner of twentytwo races and 39701 39701Frederick Frederick Johnson is here on a short visit to Hal Price Headley at Beaumont Farm where he and Headley are joint owners of the highclass English stallion Brown Prince and where Johnson has a number of mares several yearlings and the crackerjack two yuarold chestnut colt by Ultimus Continen ¬ tal a member of the Royal Gun family familyColonel Colonel W E Applegate and W E Walsh spent the morning here seeing the horses that are owned by each of them and quar ¬ tered at Thomas Piatts farm Colonel Ap plegate went on to New Orleans and AValsh returned to his home at Covington tonight
