TAKES HINATA FARM LEASE P. T. Chinn to Secure Possession of Valuable Farm of 330 Acres July I. LFAINCTOX. Ky.. April 19— Phil T Chinn has taken over the lease held by former lr. S. Senator .loseph W. Bailey on Clarence *Jje Bus Hinata Farm and will secure possession July 1. In Hinata Farm there are 330 acres. It has on it a three-quarter mile turf course for training and several excellent barns and a number of paddocks. Oeorge I . Widener has some of his mares on a portion of it until October 1 next. Colonel Chinn today said that he had leased the plate with a view to placing W. IL Coe"s stallions. The Finn and Polymelian. as well as the CoQ mares and foals, there at the conclusion of the present breeding season, or as soon as he secures possession. The Himyar Stud stallions. mares and y.-arlings will remain at the Himyar Stud Farm of 500 acres on the Russell Cave Pike, while the mares and foals cf Kdward B. .McLean will be kept at Chinns new place, the Old Hickory Farm, on the Paris Pike, next to Harry Payne Whitneys place and on an additional 100 acres of land that Chinn has rented from Louis Lee Haggin on the Ilussell Cave Pike. Altogether China will have 1.0:51 acres of land for- the accommodation of approximately 200 thoroughbred horses and loij head of cattle. Tln:s far four of the Coe mares in Kentucky have foaled and all have colts. Cleopatras is by Sun Briar. Terentias by Over There and Sun Stars Prides and Ratify*! are by Polymelian. Chinn has leased from .1. B. Gotham for this year, to be mated with Himyar Stud stallions, the mares Joy Stick. by Broomstick ; Pollys Pennant, by Peasant, and Tangent, by Star Shoot.
