Won easily; second and third driving. NORMANA took the lead quickly and. holding sway to the end, won in a canter. GOLDMARK, off forwardly, raced iu closest pursuit, but was tiring at the end. GIPSON gained steadily and made a game finish. INSURANCE lacked early speed, but finished resolutely after going a half mile. RED MILL ran well to the last eighth. Overweights — Goldmark, 5 pounds. SEA SAND took the lead at once and set a fast pace, but had to be hard-ridden to with-t-wid DUNSANDELS challenge. The latter slipped through next to the rail and, responding gamely to a hard hand ride was slowly wearing the winner down in the final strides. NIGHTBOAT closed a big gap in the final quarter. P. T. BARNUM retired after going well for a half milt CORAL REEF ran well all the way. NUGGET saved ground throughout and had no mishaps. ZOUAVE and AIR BUBBLE were practically left at the post. VICE REGAL wheeled when the start came. EAGLET met with slight interfeience on the turn cut of the buekstrctch, but slipped through next to the rail on the list turn and made a game finish, but could not overhaul the leader. MAD PLAY finished well and outstayed ANNE.
