WOODBINE PARK GALLOPS Kings Platers Out in Force at Toronto Track — Amber Fly Makes Impressive Showing. TORONTO, Ont, May 7.— Mrs. L. A. Liv-ingtons King Platers worked at Woodbine Park today over a fast track. Amber Fly, with My Solace as a running mate, galloped a mile in 1 :45%, finishing strong. The fractional time was 24, 51% and 1 :17%. Amber Fly showed keen early speed. It was the most impressive work shown so far by Mrs. Livingstons colt. My Solace was pulled up after going three-quarters. Amber Fly worked on Saturday and the gallop was unsatisfactory to trainer Regan, as the colt appeared to tire after going three-quarters in 1 :17% and a mile in 1 :49%. Therefore his work this morning was a great improvement. W. Hagens Plater Royal Gift worked with Barnabas a mile under retraint all the way in 1:51%. Rallim, Charles Millers Plater, worked on Sunday morning with Queen Cook as a running mate for the last half of the journey, going a mile in 1 :46. H. Giddings Honey Jewel worked with Royal Visitor a mile in 1 :45% quite easily. Fractional time: 24, 51%, 1:18. Game Scrapper, the Plater from the Small-man stable, went a mile and an eighth in 2 :05, the mile in 1 :51. J. C. Fletchers Cheechako was sent a mile in 1:45%. This was the first time Mr. Fletchers colt had been asked to go a distance and it was an impressive work. The first part was fast; by quarters: 24%, 49% and 1:17%. The Livingston two-year-olds. Smooth Ice, Leading Light and Gadding Vine, working together, went a good half in 50%. Other works today were: Mary Jane Baker, three-quarters in 1:20; Eltrym, five-eighths in 1:05; Ana Prisa and Uptown, five-eighths in 1:02%; Avion, half in 54%; Flame, three-eighths in 39; John Paul Jones, three-eighths in 41 ; Vennie, three-quarters in 1 :19% ; Lady Patricia, five-eighths in 1:05; James F. O xfara, three-quarters in 1:17%; Kentish Boy and Hasty Arrow, three-quarters in 1:28; Arendal, three-quarters in 1:18%; Shue, five-eighths in 1:04%; Beth Hodder, three-quarters in 1 :18 ; Keltie, three-quarters in 1 :24 ; Aunt Lin, mile in 1 :46% ; War Tank, three-quarters in 1:17%; Hillsdale, three-eighths in 40; Trixie Cal, three-eighths in 37; Anti-phon, half in 51%; Lads I-ove, half in 50; Brisk, five-eighths in 1:02%.
