FAIR GROUNDS AT ZENITH President Dymond Enthusiastic and Predicts Greatest Meeting in Its History LATONIA, Ky., Oct 16.-John Dymond, Jr., president of the Business Mens Racing Association and general manager of the New Orleans Fair Grounds, was an arrival today from the Crescent city, to do some missionary work in the interest of his association and he met with ready response from owners here. Mr. Dymond was enthusiastic over prospects for the coming winter and predicted that racing at the Fair Grounds would attain its zenith. "Most of the owners of prominence have made application for stabling room at our track," said Mr. Dymond. "And it is their intention to send there some of the best racers they campaign. "We are preparing the Fair Grounds for the accommodation of more horses than heretofore has been assembled there and we expect more good horses to participate in the racing than formerly. "Our purse offerings approximate ,S00 daily for the fifty-four days that the Fair Grounds will hold sway. This is a total sum of 21,000, much more than offered by any other winter track for a similar period of racing. "The same staff of officials that served so capably last year will again have supervision of the sport, which is assurance that everything will be decorous and satisfactory from a standpoint of good racing." Mr. Dymond accepted an invitation to be present.at tonights meeting of the Thoroughbred Horse Association members and will then make detailed statement of the Fair Grounds plan.
