ELECT NEW DIRECTOR"" TORONTO, Ont, Oct 24. The board of directors of the Ontario Jockey Club met this afternoon and elected W. G. Good-erham to fill the vacancy on the directorate caused by the death of Sir John Hen-drie. Mr. Gooderham has for many years been an enthusiastic horseman and took a keen interest in the welfare of the jockey club and the future of the Woodbine. In all matters of a legislative nature affecting breeding and racing he was to be found supporting the horsemen. His appointment to the directorate will, no doubt, be welcomed by all connected with the sport in the Dominion.
