Won driving; secend and third the fame. PRINCE HAMLET raced in, closest pursuit of the leader in the early running, .and- coming through on the inside stood a hard drive gamely and just lasted to outfinish BONNIE .OMAR. The latter set a good pace while racing on the rutside all the way, and his lider was outrode at the finish. SPARTAN raced well and easily saved third place. CARLTON raced fairly well. MINATA gained steadily when called on, and was forced extremely wide at the head of the stretch, but strod a hard drive ganiely and outstayed PHILOSOPHER in the final drive. The latter raced COURTEOUS into defeat, and took the lead, but could not withstand the winners challenge. DANDY was under restraint, in the. early running, but could not respond when called on and pulled up slightly lame. ROMAN GIRL, helped by the going, raced forwardly from the start and passing the leaders on the turn outo f the backstretch, took the lead, but was hard ridden at the end. SARAH GINGER set the early pace and came again in the stretch, into a fast going second. WITHOUT ran a good race throughout. SPEAR SHOT finish resolutely. MARY AGNES tired in the last eighth. BLARNEY STONE was save within striking distance of the early pacemaker, and racing into the lead after entering the homestretch, was going away through the last eighth. FITZRUE, close up from the start, finished fast next to the inner rail and outgamed RED WINGFIELD in the final drive. The latter .set the l.ace to the stretch, and finished well when challenged. MINT BRIAR ran a good race and, but for being forced out, might have won. TOItNBERRY finished resolutely when called on. CHIEF CURRY closed up considerable ground. MODEST had no mishaps. SCOTCH BROOM was sharply pinched back at the half-mile post when MINT BRIAR swerved over. VALEY OF DREAMS, away well, was saved In the early running, and passing OLD TIMER when called on, came wide into the stretch to get into the best going, but tired right at the end.
