HUNTINGTON STATISTICS Total of 9,500 Distributed During Fall Meeting- List of the Money Winners. The "West Virginia Jockey Club conducted its fall meeting at Huntington from October 13 to November 3, one days races being declared off on account of bad track conditions. During the eighteen days of the sport 125 races were run and 9,500, a daily average of ,801, was distributed among the successful horsemen. Of the owners participating A. S. Eastman won the most money, his horses winning five races and ,585. The Missouri Stable won ,775, E. E. Major ,G20, and H. Dougherty ,615. The leading winners among the horses were Buck Pond ,325, Dancer ,325, Daddy Wolf ,250, John Morrill ,200, Merry Mars ,175, and Dorothy Buckner ,150. Training honors fell to G. Land with eight winners and W. Martin was the bright star of the jockeys, riding twenty-three winners out of ninety-seven mounts. The owners who won 00 or more each follow : 0wner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt.
