Twenty Years Ago Today Chief Turf Events of Jan. 2, 1904 Racing at New Orleans, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Kenilworth was an easy winner of the daily handicap .at Ingleside, defeating Martinmas and Dolly Hayruan in a mild drive. The conditions were three-quarters of a mile for three-year-olds and over. Six started. J. B. Haggin, owner of the Elmendorf Stud, has leased of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Simms 1,000 acres- of the noted Woodburn estate, Lexington, Ky., formerly the property of the late A. J. Alexander, and the land will be used as an annex to his Kentucky breeding establishment. i. .
