STKP ALONG, from an inner position, began well and, securing an advantage and the lead by , racing close to the inner rail, held SKTHS TREASURE safe through the last eighth. SKTHS TREASURE legan fast and. showing much speed, might have wn but for bolting on the stretch turn and came fast near the end. WHKATON ran a good race and, was easing up in the last seventy yards. Won driving; second and third the same. RINKEY, away well, raced close up from the start and, gaining steadily in the stretch, got up to win in the final stride. BOY O BOY ran a good race and finished gamely, but was tiring right at the end after taking the lead. EXTRA EDITION began slowly, but came with a rush through the stretch and was going fastest of all at the finish. FRANKMAN was far back in the early running, but closed an immense gap in the last quarter. TAMBON set a fast pace, but quit after reaching the stretch. Won easily; secend and third driving. SECOND THOUGHTS raced into the lead with a rush soon after the start and, setting a fast pace throughout, won casing up. TRIUMPH was hard-ridden for the entire race and was going well at the end. JOHN FINN was under restraint in the early running, but tired suddenly in the last eighth and had to be ridden hard to outstay OUI OUI. BELANTE began forwardly and, showing much speed, was saved under restraint until just before reaching the last turn, where he raced into the lead and, standing a hard drive gamely, just lasted to outstay BARRACUDA. The latter, away slowly and forced to race wide in the early running, closed an immense gap and would have won in a few more strides. REVENGE moved up menacingly in the stretch racing and was going fast at the end. BRADLEYS TONEY ran a good race from the start, but began tiring in the last eighth. SETTING SUN ran well. MOONRAKER set a fast early pace, but quit badly after going three-quarters. O. HENRY was far back from the start. RAFFLES raced in closest pursuit of ALADDIN and, passing him just before reaching the stretch, held his lead gamely and just outstayed FLYING DEVIL. The latter had to be hard-ridden from the i start, but finished well and steadily wearing the winner down. ALADDIN showed the most speed to the last turn, but began tiring fast after reaching the stretch and just lasted to save third place. BEVERWYCK - was going fast at the end after closing a gap.
