SETHS TREASURE had much the best of the start and, setting a fast pace and saving ground on the stretch turn, won all the way and held FUO safe in the final drive. FUO was in closest pursuit for the entirerace and finished gamely through the last eighth. SON" OF TROMP, away poorly, ran as if best and closed an immense gap in the stretch. Won driving; second and third the same. GOOD TIME began fast and raced in close pursuit of RIIINEGOLD in the early running, then swerved in the stretch when taking the lead, but was drawing away at the end. HYSTERIA raced forwardly from the start and made a game finish. RHINEGOLI set the early pace, but began tiring in the stretch and suffered from interference when GOOD TIME swerved. DRUMMOND had to be taken in and out in the lustquart er because of the frequent swerving of the leader in the stretch. WESTWOOD was always outrun. CLOUGHJORDAN began fast and followed CENTIMETER closely all the way. but began tiring near the end. LORES A MARCELLIA raced forwardly and moved up resolutely through the last eighth. HUGHES GRAHAM ran a gocd race. LUGS closed a gap in the last eighth. LADY ROSE quit in the last eighth after closing a big gap. LADY MADCAP followed OUI OUI closely from the start and, saving much ground on the turns, began tiring in the last eighth, but gamely outstayed OUI OUI. The latter set a good pace, but was done after going seven-eighths. PHOEBE SSOW showed speed and ran well. QUICK TIME was far back after going the first quarter. FIFTH RACE 1 Mile and 70 Yards. BRADLEYS TONEY, away well and showing the most speed, was rushed into the lead in the first quarter and, setting a good pace, saved much ground on the turns, but tired and just lasted long enough to win. SETTING SUN began slowly and was ridden wide on the turns, but came fast through the stretch and finished wearing the winner down. RAFFLES raced well, but tired after going a good three-quarters. BROTHERLY LOVE ran in suddenly improved form and closed a big gap. LUCIDUS quit badly. YALESTIA ran well to the stretch. JOHNNY 0EUTOS ran ill much improved form under a good ride. SUPERBUM had no mishaps. OUR BETSY tired after going a half mile in the lead.
