FAIR GROUNDS NOTES Louis "Veitzman of Detroit, Michigan, an annual visitor to New Orleans and a prominent oralizer, died here Friday morning at the Bienville Hotel. Mr. Weitzman succumbed to an attack of Brights disease. He is survived by a widow and two brothers. He was 35 years old. The body will be shipped to Detroit for burial. Jake Holtman received a cablegram apprising him of the sudden death from heart disease, in Havana "Wednesday night, of W. L. McCracken, well known Canadian horseman who had an interest in the horses being raced by G. K. Allen at the Havana track. McCracken also held a half interest in the four-year-old. Big- Sapp, that Holtman is training at the Fair Grounds. Burial will be in Mr. McCrackens home town, "Winnipeg-, Manitoba.
