MARY DKAR began fast and took the lead in the first eighth, but began tiring in the last sixteenth and barely lasted to save second place. 31AREL C. came with a rush near the end and outstayed SAM 3IENGEL. ANTONIA ran well in the rough going and, after indulging TOMTELLA with the lead for the first three-eighths, took it herself and won in a canter. CORAL REEF ran forwardly and gamely fcr the entire wee. but was lucky to be second. RALCO was pocketed and had to bump his way through in the stretch, but finished fast and outstayed SLIPPERY ELM. The latter was given a weak ride and with a good rider would have been dangerous. TOMTELLA set a good pace to the stretch and tired fast in the last eighth. DAN BOLLING was forced back in the first quarter and not persevered with afterwards. GREEN GOLD ran poorly.
