H. T. BATCHLERS POOR LUCK NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 27. II. T. Batchier has been unfortunate with his band of eight two-year-olds at the Fair Grounds, which he had expected to have ready for early racing. Most of the youngsters have been unable to make their racing debuts owing to distemper or other ailments. However, they arc now coming to hand in a manner that is most satisfactory and are expected to be able to carry colors before many days have passed.
